Three Lamborghini Supercars Crash And Burn In Malaysia
I believe that most of you already read this news. Three people from Singapore are officially having the worst day ever. Friday morning, three Lamborghini owners from Singapore joined a supercar cruise in Malaysia and unfortunately crashed into each other on the North-South Expressway near Seremban. The owners were part of a five supercar convoy, but three of them, an Aventador and two Gallardos were involved in the wreck. All three cars burning to the ground. Thankfully, the owners were uninjured.
According to Malaysia's Berita Haria, the five supercars were on their way to Kuala Lumpur when a local driver swerved into the convoy unexpectedly, causing the driver of one of the Lamborghini's to lose control of his car and slam into the median. Unfortunately the driver was in the middle of the convoy and the two other cars behind him ended up crashing into him after he crashed into the median. Within minutes all three Lamborghinis were on fire and burned to the ground, but the best news is that no one was hurt.
The owners may have difficulty replacing their cars, as Lamborghini has finished building the Gallardo and is gearing up for a replacement. The new car, believed to be called the Cabrera, is expected to have a V10 engine mounted to a new twin-clutch transmission and all wheel drive.
The charity drive disaster came less than a week after. The Fast and the Furious star Paul Walker and his friend Roger Rodas died when their Porsche Carrera GT crashed and exploded into flames in California. Car fires have made headlines throughout 2013 thanks to a spate of incidents affecting the battery-powered Tesla Model S, while Ferrari's 458 Italia was the subject of unwanted publicity when several of its cars burnt in 2012
With the damage to all three cars estimated around $1.9 million, lets hope that the local Malaysian driver that triggered the mayhem was caught. Watch the destruction in the video below. You'll may want to sit down for this:
